Due to the high level of wedding entertainment enquiries I receive, I have decided to launch my “Wedding Band” with top class musicians and setlists to suit all tastes. I have vast experience of performing at weddings having performed with one of Ireland’s top Wedding Bands, my family band Crystal Swing for many years.

From my experience of performing at weddings, I can gauge the reaction of the guests after the first few songs and then tailor our music accordingly to suit all age groups from the youngest to the oldest. People are up and dancing immediately from the first song to the last and I keep the sound level at a comfortable level to allow guests to chat and yet enjoy the entertainment. Good sound is a priority with me and my sound system is very high spec.

I performed with my family band for ten years in every county in Ireland and all over the world. For the past seven years, I have performed as a solo artist.

Dervla Speaks out on Autism

Following her interview with Neil Prendeville on Cork's Red FM recently, Dervla has been blown away with the public response to her story regarding her son, Paul, who has severe, non-verbal Autism.

She is inundated with requests for media appearances including from Newstalk, Ireland AM, The Examiner, The Echo, to name just a few while RSVP, EVOKE and numerous bloggers are sharing and liking her story.

She feels as if she has become an advocate for distressed parents who are too weary to tell their own stories. Suddenly, she has become a voice for people with special needs. It is giving them a glimmer of hope in the hopeless situation in which they find themselves.
